Since the Earth has warmed and cooled multiple times in those past million years, it could easily be the cumulative result of those short laps.

Global warming Alarmist theories hold that the Earth is heating up at an unprecedented pace, causing extreme weather conditions all over Earth. Extreme heat causes droughts and other water shortages, which in turn leads to increased melting of ice, leading to increased sea levels. Sea level rise aggravates the flood risks in coastal regions, raising prices for homes and businesses along the coast.

All these do not occur in a vacuum.

We already know that carbon emissions are the greatest cause of climate change. Carbon dioxide is exhaled, absorbed, and exuded from the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. The carbon dioxide is then stored in the ground, soil, and air. When there is a concentration of carbon dioxide, the atmosphere is filled with a faint odor of carbon monoxide.

So, what is net zero emissions, anyway?

It is when the amount of carbon dioxide released equals or exceeds the amount of carbon being added. Net zero emissions are possible if carbon is removed from the air and used for something else, instead of being burned. The Earth can’t keep on heating up forever as it is continually being torn apart.

That would mean that carbon dioxide is being released into the atmosphere. We need to find other solutions. Another problem is carbon dioxide being stored in solid waste. If we do not find ways to store this waste correctly, it will all end up being stored in places that cannot be accessed by humans. The best option available is to use an advanced form of energy — one that does not require carbon dioxide in its fuel. It is estimated that this technology called a Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (CCCS) system, could save the world’s ecosystems from collapse.

One way to get around the issue of no net zero emissions is to increase the efficiency with which we use fuels such as coal and gas. This means that there should be a greater use of non-carbon based energies such as solar and hydro power. In addition, we should also start to phase out our use of non-renewable resources such as oil and coal over time. We also need to learn to better conserve the water, land, and air in which we live.
